Swedish payment capabilities
RIX-Inst
Meet the compliance deadlines by November 2024
In addition to various Instant Payments schemes across Europe and the Nordics (such as Straks 2.1-2.3, SEPA Instant, RT1, and TIPS), we are proud to offer support for the latest instant capability, RIX Inst. This cutting-edge solution facilitates real-time settlement of payments between banks, operating seamlessly around the clock and throughout the year in Sweden's central bank currency.
RIX-RTGS
Keep up with transfering large payments between banks
Tietoevry Banking is dedicated to assisting Swedish banks in facilitating large payments between institutions. As part of our suite of services, we offer RIX-RTGS payments, which are undergoing a significant transformation as RIX RTGS transitions to the MX (ISO 20022) messaging standard, replacing the current MT standard. This transition encompasses all payment processes and essential messages integral to Riksbank’s payment services.

The evolution of Domestic Payments with "P27"
Following the withdrawal of P27's clearing license application in Sweden, triggered by the migration of Swish volume to RIX-INST and Denmark's central bank progressing with its own initiatives, the continued presence of Bankgirot seems inevitable. Currently, all Bankgiro, Autogiro, and e-invoice payments are processed through Bankgirot's systems. Meanwhile, direct account-to-account transfers are cleared via Dataclearing, an arm of Bankgirot.
