TietoEVRY is closely following the development of the situation with regards to the global COVID-19 (2019-nCoV Coronavirus) pandemic.

Several precautionary actions to safeguard employees’ health, ensure business continuity, and to prevent the Coronavirus from spreading in the society are taken.
In late January, TietoEVRY activated a global task force for Corona preparedness. The task force monitors the global situation, is responsible for the precautionary actions and business continuity initiatives. Country teams monitor the local situations, follow and implement authorities’ instructions in each country. The business units follow their continuity plans ensuring services availability. The country teams together with global business teams ensure common systems availability. Customer-specific services follow their continuity plans ensuring services availability.
Protecting the health of our people and the safety of our workplaces while maintaining the continued operations are our highest priorities at all times. Our primary objective is to ensure the delivery of our services by securing employee availability globally. We are ensuring that the business continuity plans are up-to-date, including necessary measures to secure our workforce, data centers, service desk, platforms and deliveries.
As for safety a measure, we have e.g. urged our employees to work from home when possible according to local authorities’ guidance and in close dialogues with customers. We have increased service availability to correspond to the increased demand in e.g. remote access and virtual meeting capacity. We have also initiated strict travel restriction across the whole company and encourage our employees to utilize virtual meetings until further notice – to limit the risk for themselves as well as for our customers.
We constantly evaluate the risks, take actions to minimize any possible impact and take into account new customer needs. The dialogue with our customers is essential in this situation and we encourage openness and trust.
