In November of 2022, Tietoevry announced a strategic review of its Tietoevry Transform and Tietoevry Connect as a combined business. The integration of the two businesses progressed well during the first quarter of 2023, and the combined business Tietoevry Tech Services is effective since 1 April.
Tietoevry Tech Services is uniquely positioned to drive enterprise-wide transformation in the rapidly changing business environment and is now aiming to deliver on its full potential as a leading full-stack IT services partner. To advance on this ambition, Tietoevry Tech Services is initiating operational simplification and efficiency measures to strengthen its competitiveness in the market. These measures include: a clear focus on scalable next-generation services, including continued focus on multi-cloud solutions; continued attention on competitive cost structure and; a simplified customer-centric operating set-up.
Consequently, Tietoevry Tech Services has also initiated employee processes that may lead to the potential reduction of maximum 500 roles globally across Finland (~120 roles), Sweden (~120 roles), Norway (~100 roles), Czech Republic (~100 roles) and India (~60 roles). The processes are conducted according to the legislation and practices in each country and relevant legal company and are estimated to be completed gradually during 2023, with focus on the second and third quarter.
