Leading European health data solutions being developed in Finland. Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) – the largest specialized healthcare provider in Finland - and Tietoevry Care – a leading provider of health and social care software - have agreed on a partnership to develop data and AI solutions. This strategic partnership started in 2016, and the value of the newly signed deal is 24 million euros.
Agile data and AI development accelerates medical research in the HUS region in Finland and enables HUS to improve its operational efficiency as a leading health care service provider. Tietoevry Care’s data and AI solutions are currently being used in 400 research projects by over 1,000 researchers in the HUS region.
The core of the co-creation is the health data platform built on the Microsoft Azure cloud-based Tietoevry Data Platform. Recognized as one of Europe’s largest and most advanced health data solutions, the platform is used for clinical services, medical research, knowledge management and innovation projects.
