Finnish Patent and Registration Office has today designated Deloitte Oy, Authorized Public Accountants, as the company’s statutory auditor for the financial year 2018, with the role taking effect immediately. Deloitte Oy has notified that APA Jukka Vattulainen will act as the auditor with principal responsibility.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy resigned as it had no longer preconditions to act as the company’s independent auditor, due to the appointment of Tomi Hyryläinen as Tieto’s CFO.
In accordance with the earlier announcement on 17 July 2018, Tomi Hyryläinen will take the role of the company’s CFO and a member of the Leadership Team as from February 2019. Until then Janne Salminen will continue as acting CFO.
